This Statement of Faith presents our convictions regarding the theological truths of the Bible.
The Holy Bible is God’s written revelation to man, and thus all sixty-six books comprising the Old Testament and the New Testament, being inspired by God, are inerrant and infallible; the Holy Bible is our supreme and final authority in all matters of faith and practice.
In one living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons, the Trinity-- Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ was virgin born, He was God incarnate, and the purpose of the incarnation was to reveal God, redeem men, and rule over God’s kingdom.
The Holy Spirit came from the Father as promised by Christ to convict the world of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment, and through His indwelling He supernaturally and sovereignly works to regenerate, sanctify, instruct, empower, and seal all believers unto the day of redemption.
Man was created by God in His image and likeness; in Adam’s sin of disobedience to the revealed will of God, mankind incurred physical and spiritual death (separation from God), and as a consequence are born with a sinful nature and are sinners by choice and therefore under condemnation.
Jesus Christ accomplished our redemption through His fulfillment of the law, accomplishing the righteous requirement of the law, the shedding of His blood and sacrificial death on the cross, and His resurrection from the grave. His death was voluntary, substitutionary, and atoning.
Through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave, God confirmed the deity of His Son and gave proof that He had accepted the atoning work of Christ on the cross.
Salvation is wholly of God by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and not on the basis of human merit or works; those who repent, forsake sin, and trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are justified before God, delivered from condemnation, adopted into the family of God, and receive eternal life.
All who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior are born again by the Holy Spirit and are increasingly conformed to the image of Christ; genuine regeneration is manifested by fruits worthy of repentance as demonstrated in righteous attitudes and conduct.
All the redeemed, once saved, are kept by God’s power and are thus secure in Christ forever.
All who place their faith in Jesus Christ are immediately placed by the Holy Spirit into one united spiritual body--the church--and the members of the spiritual body are called to associate themselves together in local assemblies. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by building itself up in the faith, by instruction of the Word, by fellowship, and by advancing and communicating the Gospel to the entire world.
And practice the Lord's Table (communion), proclaiming His death until He returns, and in believer's baptism, a public profession of faith in Jesus Christ.
Satan is a fallen angel and the author of sin who works to destroy the souls of men; he shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire along with the other fallen angels and all who do not personally receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
In the blessed hope, which is the personal, visible, and imminent return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
